LOYLE CARNER
South London hip hop musician, Benjamin Gerard Coyle-Larner, known professionally as Loyle Carner, has ADHD. This is a form of mental health, it is a medical condition that affects a person's attention and self-control. It is usually diagnosed in school-aged children, however can continue to cause problems into adulthood.
"ADHD isn't my disorder, it's more like my superpower" - Loyle Carner
Loyle Carner opened an ADHD cooking school, called Chilli Con Carner. The singer teams up with social enterprise GOMA to teach children aged 14-16 how to cook. He wants others to get enjoyment out of cooking as much as he does. Carner found it a great way of escaping and coping with ADHD when he was growing up, saying "I grew up with ADHD, and for me cooking is close to meditation."

IT'S MORE THAN JUST A HOBBY
Truly inspirational
'Ottolenghi'
Carner was reading Ottolenghi's cook book Jerusalem. He explained to NME that somebody came up to him asking why he was reading a Jewish book, "He was coming at me – not physically, but he was threatening me."
NOT WAVING, BUT DROWNING
It’s another bold release from one of the biggest talents British hip-hop has to offer.
It's the second studio album by British rapper Loyle Carner. It was released on 19th April 2019. Most songs were written as messages to family or friends, and as a result are brilliantly honest.
